Advancing Design and Materials Through Optimization

•  Reverse Engineering: Successfully performed reverse engineering for Chadormalu Mining, immediately establishing superior service life over original parts.
•  Feed Wall Liner Redesign: An extensive redesign was necessary due to changes in ore characteristics, resulting in a significant increase in liner lifetime and maintaining reduced part consumption.
•  Efficiency Improvement: Redesigned the outlet diaphragm liners for the Songun Phase 1 mill, achieving proper and normal mill efficiency.
• Ribbed Liner Implementation: Implemented a novel design that significantly increased part service life; this design is now widely adopted across the Iranian mining sector.
• Advanced Liner Generation: Through collaboration with a reputable research institute, we produced a new generation of liners with modified structures and enhanced mechanical properties. These advancements have eliminated part failures in critical mills and increased service life by 10% to 15%.

• Material Selection: Liners are cast from either Chromium-Molybdenum (Cr-Mo) low-alloy steels (generally recommended for superior durability) or Manganese steels.
• Custom Properties: Material choice is determined by specific operational factors, including mill feed characteristics and grinding ball size/volume, etc. 
• Component Specification: Our engineering department defines the precise hardness and metallurgical properties required for every component, including the feed end, shell, and discharge grate liners.

In 2023, the installation of new melting and heat treatment furnaces facilitated an upgrade in our production capacity for SAG Mill liners, reaching 6000 tons per year.
