A Legacy of Innovation: The Chadormalu-Ardakan Partnership

In 2011, TSF signed a landmark contract with Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company, marking the beginning of local production for these sensitive parts.

The Pilot Test to validate domestic manufacturing capabilities, the management of the Ardakan Pelletizing Plant mandated a rigorous initial trial. We assembled a test unit on a single thru rod comprising 12 Grate Plates, 6 Chain Castings, and 6 Bushings. The Results (2012–2021) Following successful evaluation, the first TSF-manufactured components were installed in the pre-heater chain in 2012. The performance exceeded expectations, resulting in the delivery of a full suite of components, including 6,700 grate plates, 4,000 chain castings, and 2,700 side plates.

During the plant’s major overhaul in 2015, TSF parts were fully integrated into the traveling grate chain. The results were definitive:

• Seamless Installation: Installation times matched those of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
• Extended Lifespan: The components remained in service until the 2021 chain replacement, outperforming original components and extending the master chain replacement schedule by at least one year.
• High Volume Output: Over 19 million tons of pellets were produced using TSF parts during this period.

To date, all spare parts for this facility continue to be produced by Tabarestan.
