Tabarestan Steel Foundry (TSF) began its productive journey in the Oil and Petroleum industry in 1995. We initially entered this critical sector by supporting the Abadan Oil Refinery during its reconstruction phase, manufacturing essential tube sheets. This pivotal project marked the beginning of a long and distinguished history of contributing to Iran's key oil refinery sectors.

Expansion and National Recognition

Over the years, TSF has significantly expanded both its production capabilities and market reach. We progressed from basic components to manufacturing a diverse range of alloy steel parts, including:

• Headers and Return Bends
• Tube Sheets and Brackets
• Supports

These components have been supplied to major national facilities, including the Tehran, Isfahan, Shazand Arak, Shiraz, and Tabriz oil refineries.

Award of Excellence: Our commitment to excellence and quality was formally recognized in 2005, when TSF received a Letter of Appreciation from the Ministry of Petroleum, honoring us as the premier producer of cast alloy steel. Among our most significant technical milestones are the successful development and production of the advanced 50Cr-50Ni-Nb and 45Ni-35Cr-Nb alloys.

Landmark Achievement: Bushehr Petrochemical Methanol Project

A definitive highlight in our history was the first domestic production of Tube Sheet components for the Bushehr Petrochemical Methanol Project.

Project Details:

• Contract: Leveraging years of expertise, TSF secured the contract in late 2017.
• Scope: Production of 24 sets of these critical parts.
• Outcome: This project was a resounding success. After passing rigorous destructive and non-destructive tests and receiving full approval, the tube sheets were delivered in 2017.
• Performance: The components were installed without issue and have been in successful operation since the plant's commissioning.

Continued Success: Following this milestone, the same successful project execution was replicated for the Kangan and Hormoz Olefin projects, further validating our capabilities.

Mastering Advanced Metallurgy: 45Ni-35Cr-Nb

A key highlight of the Bushehr project was the pioneering domestic production of the 45Ni-35Cr-Nb alloy for tube sheets.

About the Alloy: Originally developed by a French company, this advanced material is essential for modern petrochemical units due to its:

• Excellent high-temperature properties.
• Superior resistance to carburization.

TSF Innovation: Through dedicated research and development, TSF mastered the metallurgical specifications of this complex alloy. We successfully produced high-weight, dimensionally complex tube sheets within a relatively short timeframe, solidifying our reputation as a leader in advanced alloy casting and a trusted partner for Iran's industrial growth.
